KIT SPECIAL EVENT
Stunning photo-realistic CGA transports audiences back to the Late Cretaceous, when a great inland sea divided North America in two. Follow a curious and adventurous dolichorhynchops as she travels through the most dangerous oceans in history. Along the way, she encounters long-necked plesiosaurs, giant turtles, enormous fish, fierce sharks, and the most dangerous sea monster of all — the mosasaur.
This film weaves together a series of paleontological digs from around the globe in a compelling story about scientists working as detectives to answer questions about this ancient and mysterious ocean world. Viewers accompany modern and historical fossil hunters to remote locations as they excavate the remains of some of the greatest creatures of all time, unearthing discoveries which shed light on exactly what happened to the film’s incredible cast of characters.

Kari Byron from Crash Test World and MythBusters launches us on a journey beyond the Earth towards a sustainable future in space.  NASA’s 21st century Artemis program, named after the Greek moon Goddess and twin of Apollo, is the next step in our mission to explore the universe and land the first woman and person of color on the surface of the Moon.

The show is created and presented by Jaigan Allport, planetary scientist and Director of Science Experiences hear at the Evansville Museum. Experience what it would be like to visit the countless worlds beyond Earth and learn mind-blowing facts about the universe we live in. From the rings of Saturn to the winds of Neptune, to distant galaxies and Earth-like planets, discover the secrets that lie within our natural world. Utilizing real-time animations and realistic 3D models, Outer Space LIVE! is an experience you just can't miss. Let's explore outer space - together!

For this special showing we'll be keeping the lights on low and the sound down for guests with special visual or auditory processing needs. Guests who have difficulty remaining seated or completely quiet during shows are welcome. We will also have a limited number of Sensory Kits available for guest use, including ear defenders and several different types of fidget aids.

Special considerations: Sea Monsters does feature large sea creatures that some guests may find scary. There is a scene where a mosasaur jumps out of the water and towards the viewer. There is also a scene featuring a quarry explosion that some guests may find startling. Spoilers: Dolly, the protagonist sea creature, witnesses the deaths of several of her relatives; she herself dies away at the end of the movie (to become a fossil).
