Tickets to the Koch Immersive Theater & Planetarium are nonrefundable.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes before show time - late admission may not be permitted.

NOTE: One Koch Immersive Theater show is included with regularly priced Museum Admission. If you have already purchased Museum Admission DO NOT purchase a separate theater ticket.

The Museum will be closed on Saturday, November 1, in preparation for the annual Museum Ball.

Take an extraordinary submarine voyage in search of the key to life on Australia’s iconic Ningaloo Reef. Travel through a maze of spectacular coral structures, inhabited by an abundance of exotic marine life, in one of the most diverse and complex eco-systems ever discovered.
Ride along on a magical expedition through this maze of coral reefs as you join researchers aboard the two-person submarine, Odyssea. The Ningaloo Reef is a vast coral highway stretching along the northwest coast of Western Australia. So large it can be viewed from outer space, this rich ecosystem also attracts both the largest fish on the planet (whale shark), and some of its smallest.

Stunning photo-realistic CGA transports audiences back to the Late Cretaceous, when a great inland sea divided North America in two. Follow a curious and adventurous dolichorhynchops as she travels through the most dangerous oceans in history. Along the way, she encounters long-necked plesiosaurs, giant turtles, enormous fish, fierce sharks, and the most dangerous sea monster of all — the mosasaur.
This film weaves together a series of paleontological digs from around the globe in a compelling story about scientists working as detectives to answer questions about this ancient and mysterious ocean world. Viewers accompany modern and historical fossil hunters to remote locations as they excavate the remains of some of the greatest creatures of all time, unearthing discoveries which shed light on exactly what happened to the film’s incredible cast of characters.
